The Fresh Eye platform for visual culture studies launches the third edition of the See You conference which continues the successful interdisciplinary encounters held in October 2017 and 2018.
The program aims to bring together students and experts in the field of social sciences, visual arts and artistic practice to present the latest interdisciplinary research projects dealing with image studies and the phenomena of historical and present visual culture.
We are looking for:
student interdisciplinary research projects to be presented in 20 minutes (MA and PhD studies)
We require:
brief annotation of the research project of max. 200 words
(name of project, institution and contact details)
The conference will be held on October 10, 2019 in the late afternoon and evening in the center of Prague.
Annotation authors will be informed about their participation in the program on September 1, 2019.
The conference program, featuring the research of professional researchers and international guests, director of Visual Studies Workshop TATE SHAW (Rochester, USA) and curator and lecturer CAROLINA RITO (Goldsmith/Nottingham Contemporary, UK) besides the student presentations, will be announced in early September 2019.
