Based on the boom of amateur photography started by the serial production of the Kodak camera which has flooded the American market since 1900 with its slogan “You Press the Button, We Do the Rest”, the term Kodak culture alludes to the significant field of the production of images as part of home and amateur creative activities. Kodak culture embraces photographs filling family albums, home and amateur movies, comebacks of various art techniques massively spreading through the society in retro waves and other attempts to capture the surrounding world by means of publicly available media.
