For the fourth time, Fresh Eye has announced a competition for university students of arts and humanities who look critically at the world around them. The call “One Look Won’t Do“ sought authors of texts and video essays offering a critical reflection on the contemporary visual culture and its phenomena. Based on the submitted projects, the Fresh Eye team selected three authors who will personally introduce their theoretical/artistic projects and their themes during the last programme of the 6th edition of the Fresh Eye lectures and debates.
The Fresh Eye student evening presents:
PAVEL MATOUŠEK, Department of Photography at the Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně: “Images of Experience”
TEREZA ČECHOVÁ, Aesthetics Study Programme at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University: “The Visual Aspects of the Literary Metaphor”
