The world of music has always been ruled not only by sound but also by image. The presentation of performers, listeners, music media and the club environment; all that creates one big bulk of visual communication. Does it employ distinct visual methods manifesting the aesthetic aspect and value system of independent music culture? How narrow is the line between independent and mainstream culture?
